As part of tonight’s Microsoft and Bethesda presentation, the next Forza Motorsport was finally announced. And now we also have an idea of when it will zoom in: the spring of 2023. At launch, it will arrive on Xbox Series X / S and PC. In addition, Forza Motorsport will also be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on the first day.
Along with this announcement, Dan Greenawalt and game director Chris Esaki appeared to chat about their game. Apparently, it’s the most technically advanced racing game ever, so it’s exciting. They also explained to us its dynamic characteristic of the time of day, the time for each track and the inclusion of the ray tracing. All this was shown with a clip of the fictional circuit known as Maple Valley.
The two also say that there is a 48-fold improvement in the accuracy of the simulation, but as Martin asked, what does this mean and how does it feel? I guess we won’t know for a while.
