The new PlayStation Plus is now available in Australia. At least on my personal PS5, after going to the PlayStation Plus page, I was told that I was now on PlayStation Plus Essential with the option to upgrade to PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Deluxe.
The PlayStation Store did a surprisingly good job of telling me exactly how much I would have to pay to upgrade to Extra or Deluxe for the rest of my PlayStation Plus subscription (three months for me personally).
As far as I can tell, the game schedule seems to be the same as in Japan (we’ll post the full list below), but we’re analyzing it and letting you know if there are any updates.
WHAT ARE THE NEW PLAYSTATION PLUS LEVELS?
The new PlayStation Plus levels are explained below:
- PlayStation Plus Essential: No changes to normal PlayStation Plus. You get access to the game online, as well as two free PS4 games and one free PS5 game each month, as well as exclusive discounts
- PlayStation Plus Extra: PlayStation Plus Extra includes previous Essential level benefits, as well as a catalog of over 400 downloadable PS4 / PS5 games, including Returnal, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Marvel’s Guardian’s of the Galaxy, Spider-Man Miles Morales. , Stray (when it launches), Demon Souls, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and more.
