The leg of a New York City firefighter was crushed under an SUV that he and other rescuers were trying to stabilize after an accident in Midtown on Sunday, police sources said.
Video of the 15:19 incident on West 42nd Street and 11th Avenue showed the smoker helping to get on the SUV while his FDNY teammate prepared a yellow ray to keep the vehicle stable out of danger.

Matthew Wahn of Bayside, Queens, was on his way to an early dinner when his white Volvo 360 T8 was hit from behind by the black BMW X5. Both he and his wife Randi managed to avoid injuries.
