The transaction freezes on Celsius Networks, which we reported a few days ago, seem to be just the beginning of another stormy week in cryptocurrency. Binance has been sued for the collapse of the stable currency TerraUSD and Coinbase, one of the largest cryptocurrency platforms, cut more than 1,000 jobs before the difficult economic conditions. The layoffs were abrupt. Coinbase reduced employee access to the system at the same time as the announcement, to avoid a “hasty decision.”[s]”by outgoing staff.
The value of TerraUSD sank in May, causing massive losses for investors, who relied on its rating as a stable currency that is supposed to maintain its value of $ 1 per currency. Unlike other stable currencies backed by real-world assets, TerraUSD is an “algorithmic” stable currency not backed by a fiat currency, such as the US dollar.
Instead, it is backed by a cryptocurrency called Luna and has a mechanism to restore its value to $ 1 if it ever falls. This is the problem a Utah resident has taken against Binance, accusing him of falsely announcing TerraUSD as a safe asset, backed by fiat currency.
A “cryptographic winter” is approaching, according to Coinbase chief Brian Armstrong: summer is just beginning.

The grant ends up in future sales, but will still be awarded to buyers who have already applied for it.
The UK government now plans to focus on charging stations, but did not say whether it planned to increase the £ 1.6bn budget it had already set aside.
