CLEVELAND, Ohio – It’s not true that the NFL will likely serve a 6-8 game suspension for Deshaun Watson if that’s what disciplinary officer Sue L. Robinson told a league source on cleveland.com on Wednesday.
Rob Maaddi, of the Associated Press, reported Tuesday night that although the NFL insisted Tuesday in Watson’s disciplinary hearing on the indefinite suspension for at least a year, “I was also told that the NFL, despite insist on indefinite suspension, wants to avoid the appeal process – the source said “a terrible situation for all involved”, so it is more likely that the league will comply with Sue Robinson’s decision if he returns with a penalty of about half a season.
