The remaining mandates for COVID-19 masks in Ontario will expire this week

The latest mandates for COVID-19 masks from the Ontario government will expire later this week.

The mandate for the configurations considered high risk had previously been lifted on April 27, but was extended until June 11, which is this Saturday.

It applies to public transportation, health care facilities, long-term care homes and retirement homes, as well as shelters and other congregated care settings that provide services to “medically and socially vulnerable people,” the province said earlier.
