It seems that scalpers have not wasted time buying the special edition Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for Nintendo Switch.
Shortly after the article was published in the American store My Nintendo (for the second time), new listings began to appear on websites like eBay, asking for twice the price and even higher sums of money. Here’s a look at some of them:

My Nintendo Store users in the United States have so far reported conflicting results when securing Xenoblade 3 advance orders.
Some have had issues with the website and seem to have missed it, while others have been lucky enough to receive an order after incredibly long waiting times. There was a limit of one special edition per person on the site. Here is the reaction from social media:

Elsewhere in the world, securing a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special / Collector’s Edition seems to have been a little easier. Locations like Australia have already offered the sleeker physical version, but there will be a slight delay with shipping. And in Japan, Nintendo is apparently leaving pre-orders open and will produce as many units as needed.
At this time it is unclear whether Nintendo of America will make another round of special edition reservations available for those who have missed it, but if we hear anything, we will surely let you know.
