The strapless dog provokes a violent encounter, vehicle vandalism near Cochrane

The Cochrane RCMP has published a sketch of a suspicious woman accused of pushing a man off his bike and after vandalizing his truck because he was upset that his dog was without a leash.

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 23 in a service aisle on Horse Creek Road and Weedon Trail, north of Cochrane, Rocky View County.

The man was riding his bicycle with his dog following him and when he passed a woman walking, he got angry.

“There was a verbal altercation and the woman pushed the man off his bicycle,” the RCMP said in a statement.

“The man saw the woman hanging around his truck and when he got back to his truck, he realized he had been vandalized.”

The suspicious woman is described as:

  • 175 centimeters (5.9 “) tall and weighs 113 kilograms (250 lbs) and;
  • At the end of his 20s.

The woman had dark brown, shoulder-length hair and glasses.
