A bartender has been shocked after a man threw two hot coffees at him over a disagreement in west Sydney.
The incident happened at Soul Bowl in Rosehill shortly after 11 a.m. yesterday.
Lily Semaan, the cafe owner, said the man had insisted on paying for a young woman’s coffee and she refused.

“Our staff member respected the young woman’s wishes because she was harassed, sworn and mistreated,” he said.
“He grabbed the two coffees and threw him aggressively.”
Semaan posted CCTV of the incident on social media so the community could help identify the offender.

Suman Dhital told 9News that he had never experienced such behavior in the cafeteria before.
“I was trying to have a good day with a coffee, but he was mistreating me and insulting me,” Dhital said.
Dhital was left with burns on his face and hands.

Police are now investigating the assault and are looking to speak with the client.
“Investigations continue to identify and locate the depicted man, who is described as a Mediterranean / Middle Eastern man in his 30s, with short black hair and a beard,” police said in a statement.
“At that moment he is shown in a white and gray ‘Champion’ hooded sweater.”
