The video captures the moment a gunman opened fire during an ambush in broad daylight that killed a Bronx teenager on a scooter on Saturday, police said.
Melvin Urena, 19, was shot around 1:30 p.m. as he passed 429 E. 156th St., police said. That was when two men got out of a late model gray Honda Pilot and at least one of them shot him with a gun several times, police said.
The video shows one of the men jumping from the back seat of the passenger vehicle waving his gun, which appears to have a magazine loaded, and shooting into the street. Another man jumps on the side of the driver of the car and raises his hand as if he, too, is firing, but it is unclear if he is actually firing a gun.
