A third man has been arrested in connection with the alleged fatal stabbing of 23-year-old Levi Johnson outside a Brisbane gym on Monday. Queensland police say 35-year-old Thomas Myler has been on the run since Johnson was killed in broad daylight outside a gym park in Mansfield on Monday.
Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham said a member of the public reported seeing the car used in the “horrific” attack on Johnson which led police to Myler’s whereabouts.

He added that Myler and his girlfriend were at a Chandler residence allegedly trying to bury firearms.
Myler’s girlfriend is currently being questioned and police are deciding whether to press charges in connection with helping Myler avoid police custody.
Police also located a white Nissan Patrol believed to have been used in Monday’s attack.

Officers are still looking for 24-year-old Kyle Martin on the charge of murder, with the aggravating circumstance that he and Myler were members of a criminal organization at the time.
“We have updated images of him, there is some clear CCTV footage that we released tonight, once again we are appealing to the public for help that he is potentially armed and dangerous as I suspected today,” Massingham said.
Martin was captured on CCTV footage walking through the busy Carindale shopping center just before the attack.
Massingham said Myler was armed before he surrendered to police
Police believe Myler and Martin split up after the alleged attack and have remained on the run locally rather than fleeing across the border.
Massingham also added that the relationship between the two men appeared to be “fractured”.
“From some of the words spoken by this man it appears that the relationship broke down a little bit,” he said.

Earlier this week, two other men, both 34, were charged with murder and murder-related offences.
Massingham said it was believed all the men could be linked to the “fairly unknown” 13 Kings gang, which has a presence in Capalaba.
He said police believed the men had been watching the victim before she was attacked on Monday.
He said detectives believed the victim realized he was being followed and pulled into the parking lot of a Mansfield gym for shelter when he was allegedly attacked about 1 p.m. Monday.

The victim was allegedly chased by a black Audi and rammed by a Nissan Patrol before five men piled out of the cars and smashed the driver’s side window with a crowbar.
Police say they chased the victim as he tried to escape through the passenger door and one of the men stabbed him multiple times in the torso before four of the men fled in the Nissan Patrol.
The fifth man fled on foot.
Superintendent Massingham said police had not found the Nissan Patrol, which they believed was still in the area.
