The Calgary Police Service has released surveillance footage of two wanted people in connection with an armed robbery that affected eight pharmacies in a three-day period.
The duo, who are possibly minors, are suspected of attempted robberies at drugstores in every quadrant of the city that took place between Tuesday and Thursday.
Staff were threatened with a firearm during several of the robbery attempts, but the suspects fled empty-handed in at least two cases.
The eight Calgary pharmacies for June 14-16 are:
Southwest

Northeast
- Riverside Remedies Pharmacy – 630 First Ave. NO
- Dr. Cornerstone IDA Pharmasave – 5102 Rundlehorn Dr. NO
- Coventry Pharmacy and Travel Clinic – 101 790 Coventry Dr. NO
- Pharmasave – 79 Martindale Blvd. NO
Northwest
- The Medicine Shop – 5440 Fourth St. NW
“Pharmacists are providing essential services to the people of Calgar and the level of violence we are seeing in these robberies is unacceptable,” the sergeant said. Rod Harbidge of the Calgary Police Service Robbery Unit in a statement. “We are still investigating these disturbing and worrying incidents. We believe that the same two suspects are involved in this recent series of robberies and, once located and arrested, the facts are expected to subside.
“In the meantime, we continue to work with pharmacy owners and employees to implement crime prevention recommendations.”
