It was a celebration that was 155 years old.
Thousands of people celebrated the birth of a nation on Canada Day in Polson Park and Davison’s Orchard in Vernon.
For the first time in two years, Polson Park was full of activities, food trucks, live entertainment, games and vendors.
Davison’s Orchard also attracted a large crowd for its annual Canada Day events, including the birthday cake and a variety of other activities.
Canada Day was also celebrated at the Slo-Pitch Funtastic Music Tournament and Festival, which featured local talent on stage at the DND venue.
Funtastic continues from today until Sunday.
