Tottenham are poised to present their first formal offer for Richarlison, although Chelsea’s new interest could drive up the price if negotiations drag on, according to reports.
The Brazilian fired Everton last season with six goals in his last nine games. Richarlison again scored twice as many goals throughout the campaign and common sense would dictate that his numbers would increase even more if he joined a top team.
Everton’s financial problems have ensured the sale of Richarlison or Dominic Calvert-Lewin is likely this summer. Given how they finished last season, the Brazilian would certainly charge the highest fee.
Tottenham have established frequent links with the 25-year-old and today is no different.
The Evening Standard recently stated that the Spurs are willing to leave Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal in favor of swapping for one of Richarlison’s Raphinha or Leeds United.
Both are tested in the Premier League and are at the best of their careers. As such, it is unlikely to be signed for less than £ 60 million.
Leeds has reportedly set a price of £ 65 million on its Brazilian talisman. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano previously stated that the Toffees would command between £ 60 million and £ 64 million for Richarlison.
Now, the goals report, Tottenham are ready to bolster their interest in the latter with an official offer.

This specific offer is scheduled to be presented in the coming days. In addition, the Spurs hierarchy hopes to meet with Richarlison’s camp to discuss an agreement and, presumably, personal terms.
From the end of the player, Richarlison is said to want to resolve his future after concluding his current vacation in Brazil.
The rush with which he wants a resolution is something that could help the Spurs, given that Chelsea have entered the frame.
In fact, with the exit of Romelu Lukaku’s loan to Inter almost confirmed, the Blues are mobilizing in the market.
The plant remains a priority with two elite targets mentioned here. However, additions to the final third are also a must and both Raphinha and Richarlison are also on their radar.
The slow start to the Chelsea window has given Tottenham an early lead. However, if they can’t close a deal for Richarlison quickly, Chelsea’s interest could spark a bidding war that the Spurs want to avoid.
No doubt this scenario would be to Everton’s liking, given that the new season is still six weeks away and time would be on his side to reinvest Richarlison’s money before the first week.

In terms of playing time, Richarlison may find it more difficult to appear regularly at Tottenham.
