The only way is Essex star Yazmin Oukhellou is “stable and recovering in hospital after surgery,” his spokesman told Sky News after a car accident in Turkey in which his friend died.
A vehicle in which Oukhellou was traveling with Jake McLean has been reported to have veered off a cliff into the Bodrum resort.
Former McLean partner Lauren Goodger, another TOWIE star, is among those who have honored her on social media.
Giving an update on Oukhellou’s condition, his representative said, “Yazmin is stable and is recovering in hospital after surgery.
“Right now, Yazmin and his family have asked for privacy.”
Oukhellou first appeared in TOWIE in 2017 and his relationship with co-star James Lock was documented on the reality TV show, which follows the ups and downs of a group of friends living in Essex.
He is said to have been in an intermittent relationship with McLean since 2021.
Goodger, who dated McLean for several years starting in 2012, shared a tribute on Instagram on Monday.
“RIP Jake. I have no words right now. My thoughts are with your family and friends,” he said.
TOWIE’s partner Harry Derbidge posted photos of himself and Oukhellou in his Instagram stories and said he wished him a speedy recovery.
Hundreds of Oukhellou followers have posted messages of support for the star in the latest Instagram post she herself shared, posted in late June, with former Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan Wallace among the esteemed.

“Praying for you, worried patient, you are so beautiful,” Horgan Wallace wrote.
Essex DJ and producer Rick Live also commented, “Sending love and prayers. You can do this Yaz.”
A spokesman for the Office of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development said: “We are supporting the family of a Briton who died in Turkey and we are in contact with local authorities.
“We are also supporting the family of a British woman who has been hospitalized.”
