A man has died after suffering “severe burn injuries” on a property near Great Barr. The tragic incident happened yesterday morning (June 15) around 11 am.
Emergency services moved to Amberley Green where they found a man with fatal burns. West Midlands police said they were investigating how he got to his wounds.
Photographs taken by a local media outlet showed a great response of 999. Forensics, uniformed officers and plainclothes officers were on site throughout the day.

The incident happened at the end of the dead-end street leading from Hamstead Road. Last night, a single police car was parked on the road with three officers still on duty.
A West Midlands police spokesman said: “We were called after a man was found with serious burn injuries in Amberley Green, Great Barr, around 11am today (June 15th). “His death was confirmed at the scene. We are in the process of establishing how the man caused his injuries.”
West Midlands Police have been contacted for an update this morning (June 16). The force said there was no additional information and continued the investigation.
