For the second time this year, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for COVID-19.
The prime minister, who recently traveled to the United States for the Summit of the Americas, tweeted Monday morning that he feels “okay” and will be isolated according to public health guidelines.
Trudeau, who was fully vaccinated, tested positive earlier in January this year, as did two of his children.
I tested positive for COVID-19. I will follow public health guidelines and isolate. I feel good, but that’s because I got shot. Therefore, if you have not done so, get vaccinated and, if you can, strengthen yourself. We protect our health care system, each other and ourselves.
