WASHINGTON – Pat Cipollone, Donald Trump’s former White House attorney, will testify under oath on Friday in camera before the select committee of the House investigating the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to people aware of the agreement.

The committee issued a subpoena to Mr. Cipollone late last month, setting July 6 as the date to file for a deposition. Mr. Cipollone and his attorney did not immediately respond to questions Wednesday about his response to the subpoena or whether he intended to state that certain interactions with Mr. Trump is protected by the privilege as a White House attorney.
