Apparently, “not all lives matter” to Twitter employees. According to the latest internal chat leaks, employees were teased by new Twitter boss Elon Musk, who said the inclusive phrase during a company-wide meeting on Thursday.
When the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla addressed the company for the first time since the purchase in a virtual meeting of all hands, Twitter employees were communicating their thoughts on Musk’s statements through the messaging channel Slack.
Leaked chats posted on Libs of TikTok’s Twitter account reveal that employees were especially provoked by Musk saying, “All lives matter,” which for far-left activists is a phrase of oppression that symbolizes white supremacy .
“All lives matter,” one employee said in the chat, expressing bewilderment as they quoted Elon Musk.
“Literally just (said) that all lives mattered,” added another employee, apparently upset with his new boss.

Since the announcement of tech billionaire Elon Musk’s purchase of the $ 44 billion social media platform on April 25, Twitter employees have been “mentally bankrupt” by the acquisition, expressing concern for future changes in the “company culture”.
Slack’s previous internal messages show that employees are having problems with the change of ownership.
Musk bought the platform after expressing concern over Twitter’s extreme bias against conservative users in an apparent effort to ensure that everyone on the site has a chance to express their views without being censored by employees. Twitter users who have different opinions.
“Freedom of expression is the foundation of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the city’s digital square where vital issues for the future of humanity are debated. I also want to make Twitter better than ever by improving the product with new features, making algorithms open.source to increase trust, defeat spam bots and authenticate all humans, “Musk said in a statement after the acquisition.
However, the acquisition has not yet taken place, as Musk has reached a set of blockages since the April announcement. Musk has repeatedly threatened to withdraw or postpone the deal, and the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX called in May for the platform to prove that less than 5 percent of users of the platform are bot accounts.
In June, a Musk lawyer sent a letter to Twitter demanding that the company provide those figures before the deal could be reached.
“At this point,” wrote attorney Mike Ringler. “Mr Musk believes that Twitter is transparently refusing to comply with its obligations under the merger agreement, which is causing more suspicion that the company is withholding the requested data due to concern so you will discover Mr. Musk’s own analysis of this data. “
According to The Verge, if work on the Twitter purchase agreement continues, it is expected to take about six months to close the offer.
