Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a “target” and “horrible” attack on Greater Manchester.
Thomas Campbell, 38, was found dead at an address in Riverside, Mossley, around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
In what detectives describe as “huge steps,” two men, ages 31 and 37, were arrested Thursday and Friday.
Both remain in custody.
A murder investigation is progressing at a “fast pace,” Greater Manchester police said.
“These arrests are big steps in our murder investigation as we put together what was a horrible attack and get the family the answers they so desperately need,” Detective Inspector Mark Davis of his incident team said. main.
