A collision between two vehicles in Moncton on Friday morning has sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.
Codiac RCMP received a call about the collision at the intersection of Wheeler Boulevard and Botsford Street around 1:19 a.m. Friday morning.
Two people in one of the vehicles were hospitalized. The RCMP had no update on his condition until 9 a.m. Friday.
An RCMP spokesman said there was a collision expert at the scene. Although the collision is still being investigated, it does not appear that drugs or alcohol have been a factor.
Wheeler Boulevard, both west and east, between Université Avenue and Botsford Street, was closed to traffic for several hours.
