Two people missing after a boat capsized on Lake Devon

Two missing people are being sought after a boat capsized on a lake in Devon.

Emergency services were called around 1:30 p.m. at Roadford Lake in Lewdown, Okehampton.

It was reported that several people were on board at the time. They were all adults and were believed to be from the county.

Police, firefighters, ambulances, air ambulances, coastguards and search and rescue teams traveled to the area.

Four people have been rescued from the water, including two who were taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment. Their conditions are unknown.

The other two were reviewed and discharged by paramedics at the scene.

Search crews are looking for two more people and the ship has been located.

Road closures have been closed at the Roadford Lake business center.
