One person is in custody and two people have been sent to hospital after a blatant public shooting at the Williams Lake stampede camp on Sunday afternoon.
According to the RCMP, officers responded to reports of a shooting inside the stampede site located at 800 block of Mackenzie Ave. South.

“Two people suffering unspecified injuries have been taken to a hospital in the area and one suspect is in custody,” the sergeant said. said Kris Clark.
“Preliminary information suggests that this incident was targeted and that there is no further risk to the public.”
