An ugly cannon entry has put an end to the season of South Sydney striker Liam Knight, while the offender will only miss three games.
Daniel Suluka-Fifita’s has joined the Rabbitohs since the Roosters after Knight’s 2022 ended abruptly Saturday night.
Knight was playing in the NSW Cup against Parramatta when Eels winger Solomone Naiduki threw himself on his legs while holding him straight in a tackle.

The Bunnies striker immediately grabbed his right knee and scans have confirmed that Knight has broken his ACL.
Naiduki has been charged with dangerous third-degree contact and faces a three-match ban.
Suluka-Fifita has joined the Rabbitohs after obtaining an immediate release from his contract with the Roosters.
Having signed a three-year contract from 2023, the 22-year-old will now join his new club and will be available for selection as soon as round 17.

Suluku-Fifita was a Southern junior, who was part of the SG Ball and Harold Matthews teams of the Redfern club between 2014 and 2017.
The 192cm striker played alongside current stars Cameron Murray and Campbell Graham who went through the junior system before being robbed by the Tricolors, but will now be reunited with his former teammates.
Suluka-Fifita has played 20 games with the Roosters since making her NRL debut in 2020.
