The Toronto Police Marine Unit is grateful to the public for their help in locating their “beloved” cat, Porter.
The dark-colored feline was last seen on Sunday, May 29, at 3 a.m., heading north on Rees Street.
On Tuesday afternoon, Toronto police announced in a tweet that the kitten had been found. A family member said he thought Porter was staying and took him home, they said in a tweet.
Take home!
A family took him home thinking he was a tramp. Thanks to everyone who took the time to share, the family realized that they were less lost and freer.
Thank you all and thank you family for bringing our family together @TPSMarineUnit. #PorterFelineUnit. ^ vk
