Chatham-Kent police have made an arrest following an investigation into an aggravated assault near Tilbury center earlier this month.
Police said on Friday, June 10, a young male offender who cannot be identified under the Juvenile Criminal Justice Act was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
The incident took place around 11pm on Monday 6 June at the intersection of Queen Street and Louise Street.
Officers said the victim was seriously injured and threatened his life as the suspect fled south on Queen Street to the city center.
