One person has died after a shooting on Park Street on Saturday.
City police say the person was pronounced dead after being taken to Peterborough Regional Health Center.
Police said Saturday the situation did not involve an active shooter. Officers were in Park and Sherbrooke while the investigation continued through Saturday night.
The area was cordoned off, with yellow tape surrounding one of the houses on the street.
A witness told The Examiner that he had previously heard what appeared to be shots from the area of the house.
