Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka and MJ Daffue had some amazing shots during the second round of the U.S. Open on Friday.
Scheffler, who won the Masters to place No. 1 in the world golf rankings before losing the cut in the PGA Championship, hit an eagle throw at hole 14 from about 60 yards.
The eagle put him 2 down for the tournament and among the tournament leaders.
He finished the round with a 67 and was 3 below the tournament.

Moments later, two-time U.S. Open winner Brooks Koepka nailed his own eagle into the same hole. He sank a putt about 14 feet away from the cup. Koepka’s eagle put him 1 down with four holes left in his round.

Koepka finished the round with a 67 and was tied for the tournament.
Daffue, a Korn Ferry Tour competitor who won his first appearance at the U.S. Open, was among the leaders after a 67 in the first round. He hit a stray shot at a hospitality store and had to swing from the fake lawn near the store. He made a great shot to get dirty near the green, covering about 250 meters. It was scored by a bogey at par-5.
He shot a 72 for the round and was 1 under for the tournament.

It looked like all the golfers would make the cut over the weekend and be struggling to win the major.
