Uvalde residents are frustrated by the response to the shooting

UVALDE, Texas – Residents here expressed anger and frustration at the time it took for law enforcement to end a primary school shooting that killed 19 children and two teachers while circulating videos on social media showing parents confronting police outside the building.

“The police did nothing,” said Angeli Rose Gomez, who, after learning of the shooting, drove 40 miles to Robb Elementary School, where her children are in second and third grade. “They were just outside the fence. They weren’t going in there or running anywhere.”
