Vince McMahon, the king of American wrestling, has stepped down as CEO and chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment following revelations by The Wall Street Journal of multiple payments to women who had alleged sexual misconduct and infidelity
In a press release, the 76-year-old executive said that his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, and the company’s current chairman, Nick Khan, will take over as co-CEOs. Ms. McMahon will serve as chair.
