Voting in the Ontario election has been extended to 27 polling stations.
Elections Ontario says 19 constituencies are affected and as a result, the count cannot begin in these districts until the polls close.
A source familiar with the vote count told The Canadian Press that the extensions are taking place for a variety of reasons, including some polling stations opening late and others having to move due to technical issues and cuts. light.
Ballot boxes are expected to close across the province at 9 p.m. ET, and extensions to the affected constituencies will last between 10 minutes and two hours.
