An aquatic center in the southern suburbs of Perth has been evacuated by a possible chemical spill on Thursday afternoon.
A spokesman for the Fire and Emergency Services Department said a high chlorine activation alarm was triggered at an Aqua Jetty warehouse in Warnbro shortly before 2:30 p.m.
The facility was evacuated and cordoned off by emergency services, who arrived at Warnbro Sound Avenue in 20 minutes.
Two firefighters with full equipment of hazardous material entered to assess the leak, but returned a zero reading for chlorine exposure.
Emergency services say they do not suspect a chlorine leak and that no customers or personnel were exposed to the chemical.
The paramedics have moved to the scene as a precaution.
