Six Nations police said a nine-month investigation titled Project Reunion resulted in the arrest of three Brantford people and the confiscation of more than $ 1.5 million in drugs, weapons, currency and jewelry.

The 15 search warrants that were executed simultaneously with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police and Brantford Police resulted in major confiscations of two Brantford homes.

Police seized 18 pistols and ammunition, $ 200,000 in jewelry, half a pound of fentanyl, six pounds of methamphetamine and four pounds of cocaine.

They also confiscated a “large amount” of prescription drugs, such as hydromorphone, oxycodone and alprazolam, and C $ 86,000.

Three people were arrested and detained. Six Nations police said they hoped to file additional charges against others as the investigation continues.

Justin Wayne Allen Aumell, 31, and Shanna Julieanna Vanevery, 29, have been charged with possession of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydromorphone, and alprazolam for trafficking, possession of oxycodone, 18 charges of possession of a firearm, and other crimes of arms, possession. of stolen property and possession of the proceeds of the crime in excess of $ 5,000.
