Weston-super-Mother GBH’s investigation is looking for three men in connection with the attack

Police investigating an attack in which a man was punched in the head in Weston-super-Mother have released CCTV footage of three men they want to talk to. Officers are treating the investigation as a serious bodily injury investigation.

The victim needed hospital treatment after the assault around 1 a.m. on Sunday, March 20. It was followed by what police say was a “verbal altercation” between the victim and two strangers at a takeaway on St James Street.

When the victim walked away, the couple followed him, according to police. They followed him through the city center.

The two later joined a third man at Alexandra Parade, near the intersection with Alfred Street. This is where the attack took place.
