Neighbors is heading for its final stretch, just over two months before we finally say goodbye to Ramsay Street residents.
The iconic soap has been part of television programming for 37 years, but the cast and crew will be filming its final scenes in June following Channel 5’s decision to leave the show.
While Neighbors ’passionate fan base is savoring every episode right now, expectations for the nostalgic ending are also growing.
In case you are not a superfan with the date already marked on your calendar, here is everything you need to know about when to wait for the last episode.
When’s the last episode of Neighbors in the UK?

In June 2021, the cast and crew of Neighbors were informed that Channel 5 had renewed the program with a one-year contract. This was much shorter than the previous multi-year agreements that Channel 5 had agreed in 2007 and 2017.
With some cast and crew already getting nervous, their worst fears were confirmed in February 2022 when Channel 5 confirmed that it would no longer issue the soap beyond August.
Producer Fremantle was hoping to find a new UK broadcast partner to fund more episodes, but no agreement could be reached and in March it was announced that Neighbors would end after 37 years.
Channel 5 bosses later confirmed that the final episode of Neighbors would air on Monday, August 1st.
The finale has been announced as an “epic double episode” that will be screened in one hour.
So far, it has not been officially announced whether the final will be broadcast in the usual 13.45 and 18.00 bands or whether it will be promoted to a special during prime time.
When is the last episode of Neighbors broadcast in Australia?

Since January 2022, episodes of Neighbors have premiered worldwide on Channel 5 for UK audiences, ending Australia’s decades-old tradition of being able to watch the action on Ramsay Street first.
This is because Channel 5 has aired five episodes a week all year round, while Peach 10 in Australia has consistently lagged behind with only four episodes.
The good news for fans in Australia is that there are already plans for Peach 10 to catch up again.
In March, 10 Peach announced that it would begin airing double episodes of Neighbors starting Monday, June 13th.

This means that Australia will have to find the United Kingdom again in time for the final.
The latest episode will air in the UK and Australia on the same day. Due to the time difference between the two countries, it looks like Australia will receive the first episode, albeit only a few hours.
A spokesman for 10 Peach recently told TV Tonight: “Starting Monday, June 13th, Ramsay Street friends can tune in to the double of fun, the double of action with double episodes to celebrate the last season of Neighbors.
“The finale of the final series will air on Monday, August 1.”
When’s the last episode of Neighbors in Ireland?

RTÉ One has also announced its own plans to broadcast the finale of Neighbors in Ireland.
The Irish station traditionally broadcasts episodes a day behind Channel 5 in a 2pm time slot.
In a recent post on its website, RTÉ confirmed that it will split the end of an hour of Neighbors into two parts.
This means that the penultimate episode will be broadcast on RTÉ One on Tuesday 2 August and the last visit to Ramsay Street will follow on Wednesday 3 August.
Neighbors airs on weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and broadcasts on My5. In Australia, the show airs Monday through Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at 10 Peach and airs on 10 Play.
