Which hardware ad do you want to see more at WWDC 2022? Guides

We’re a few hours away from the presentation of WWDC 2022. Aside from the software versions, we’ll likely see new hardware announced as well. With the fall of the Apple Store, it usually means that Apple is preparing some new products along with iOS 16, macOS 13 and more. Which hardware ad do you want to see more?

Starting with the MacBook Air, it seems very possible that Apple will introduce a redesigned machine during the presentation of WWDC 2022. With at least one new color (dark blue), this MacBook Air could recover the MagSafe charger, get a notch similar to that available on the MacBook Pro and the new M2 chip, which should be based on the A15 processor.

Alongside this, a base model MacBook Pro could also see the light of day. Unlike those introduced in October, this entry-level machine would have the old design with the Touch Bar and would only get the M2 chip.

While WWDC is usually a software event, there is still more hardware to look forward to during the presentation. For example, it has been rumored that Apple will introduce a redesigned Mac mini. 9to5Mac found M2 Mac mini and Mac mini Tower pages at an Apple Authorized Reseller. While the former could include the M2 chip, it is rumored that the latter includes the M1 Pro. Little is known about these products, but who knows.

In addition, Apple said at its October event that a new Mac Pro was in development. Since the last time the company announced a Mac Pro was during WWDC 2019, it would make sense for Apple to decide to do the same at the presentation of WWDC 2022.

Last but not least, Apple could always make fun of its headset rumors (along with realityOS). Over the past year, rumors and analysts believe that the company will soon enter a new segment since the introduction of the Apple Watch, half a decade ago. If that’s the case, we could see a mixed reality headset in all its glory (or close to that).

With that in mind, what hardware ad do you want to see more at the WWDC 2022 conference in a few hours? Vote in the poll and share your thoughts in the comments section below.
