Nick Kyrgios received criticism from a single Wimbledon champion after the heated match of the Australian tennis star against Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Kyrgios defeated Tsitsipas 6-7 (2-7), 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (9-7) in a four-set thriller during the third round of the Wimbledon Championship. During the match, Tsitsipas intentionally hit a ball in the stands, expressing frustration with himself for dropping a set. Kyrgios complained that Tsitsipas should have been breached by the outbreak, prompting a brief protest. He would receive a curse of the code for cursing.

Pat Cash, an Australian compatriot who won at Wimbledon in the 1980s, told BBC Radio he was not enthusiastic about Kyrgios crossings.
“It was absolute chaos. It has brought tennis to the lowest level I can see in terms of gambling, deception, manipulation, abuse, aggressive behavior on referees and line judges,” Cash said. .

Cash explained what he meant by “cheating.” He said Kyrgios did more than try to mentally overcome Tsitsipas.
“Tsitsipas was making a call and he was going up there and he was starting to complain, he was putting himself in his face, that’s part of the game, that’s the kind of thing he does and I think there’s a limit.
“I don’t have a problem with a bit of play, but when it gets to that level, I think it’s out of control.
“As it was, the referee lost control. The kids on the ball ran down the court while Kyrgios knew, he didn’t slow down for any of that. For me now he’s gone too far.”
Kyrgios, known for his hot head on the court, was also disciplined for spitting on fans during a pre-tournament match. He also called a woman a “snitch.”

On Monday, Kyrgios once again battled criticism for defeating Brandon Nakashima in a five-set thriller. He won by 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7), 3-6, 6-2. He will face the Chilean Cristian Garin in the quarterfinals
