Are you trying to wake up your brain this Monday with a puzzle? Then we can help you with Wordle’s answer for today, July 18th.

For the uninitiated, Wordle’s goal is to craft a five-letter daily word in six guesses. The fewer riddles, the better, and if you don’t guess, you’ll break the streak.

The latter is why figuring out today’s Wordle response is a priority, as players are proud to keep their streak. So why bet on a risky final guess when you can learn some clues and if not, get the definitive answer? This page can help with that.

Even with the previous clues, you’re still not sure and want to keep that streak?

Wordle’s answer for today is FLOCK.

I didn’t find today’s Wordle too hard (for once) and got it in four attempts pretty quickly. Although, this is probably because I had an advantage, as I got the “F” as part of my first guess, “Four.” It’s not a common letter found in most Wordle responses, so hopefully you’ve been able to guess correctly and keep your streak going!

Don’t forget to share your Wordle answer once you’re done.

Now you have the answer, don’t spoil it for others! Remember that you can share your results without grid-shaped spoilers.

Of course, no one should know that you came to this page to solve it. Maybe you introduce two or three fake guesses first to get rid of the smell, maybe?

Many things have happened with Wordle since the arrival of the whirlwind in October 2021, which saw millions of players register every day in just a few months.

App stores quickly flooded with clones to take advantage of their popularity. Elsewhere, a developer who had a game with a similar name above available gave his unexpected to a charity after players had confused it with the new five-letter riddle game, with the (modern) creator of Wordle, Dan Wardle, calling it a “class act” in response.

The most notable development in Wordle’s history is its purchase by the New York Times for an undisclosed sum of seven figures, incorporating the game into the newspaper’s online gaming umbrella.

Today, Wordle is still free and the game itself does not change, although there have been some minor behind-the-scenes developments.

The initial migration saw some players reset their lines and delete rude words from the dictionary, which has caused the word list to change, and some players were given a different word. The New York Times has also since closed an “unauthorized” archive site of older Wordle puzzles.
