WWDC: breaking news
Apple Store is down: As usual, Apple has withdrawn its online store to prepare for today’s presentation. The message is different: Instead of “Come back right away,” with an Apple logo, there’s a WWDC image, titled “News in Development.” Below it says “We’re updating the Apple Store. Please check back after the event, play it on apple.com or the Apple TV app. Note that this is the first time since 2017, when Apple removed Apple’s online store during a WWDC presentation. That year, the HomePod and iMac Pro were unveiled, but not shipped until much later.

MacBook Air: Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo agree that Apple plans to launch a redesigned MacBook Air at WWDC. However, it may not come with the variety of colors we were expecting. Gurman says rumors of a variety of new colors are “probably exaggerated” and Kuo says the new laptop will have three standard color options (silver, space gray, gold), plus [probably] a new color “.
Adding more fuel to the rumor mill, B&H Photo unveiled a list of a 14-inch MacBook Air with an M2 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, a tweet from Shawn C. Steiner, who identifies himself as B & H’s senior director of creative web content, says B&H has previously made product listings that are “rumor-based conjectures” (more on this from here a little), and this could be what is happening here and with the …
13-inch MacBook Pro: Gurman says the 13-inch MacBook Pro’s programming has been “removed” due to the supply crisis and will likely be released in the fall. 9to5Mac also unveiled a list in B&H Photo for a 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M2 processor, but again, this is probably a rumor-based B&H conjecture.
These are not real SKUs. It was done preventively before the last event and was not deleted correctly. All conjecture is based on rumors.

Mac mini tower: Another list of B&H photos, this one for a Mac mini tower with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and an M1 Pro processor. A B&H representative says this list was made as a guess for the “last event” and was never removed from the site.
M2 Mac mini: another list of “guess” B&H Photo that never withdrew, this is an M2 Mac mini with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
Mac Pro: Ian Zelbo, the artist responsible for Apple’s conceptual illustrations for Front Page Tech, believes that B&H has also given away the imminent release of an Apple Silicon Mac Pro by labeling the current model as a “Discontinued Item” . (However, we have not been able to confirm this. All Mac Pro models we see here are available for purchase, with delivery expected to be between two and eight weeks.)
Zelbo also claims that Apple has set up its Mac Pro introductory video on YouTube as private, which could be one more clue to a new Mac Pro.
AR Headphones: While there has been some hope that Apple will provide a preview of its upcoming AR headphones, reports now say it is unlikely to show up at the event.
watchOS 9: MyHealthyApple has detected an FDA 501 (K) presentation that points to new features in Apple Watch that allow users to view a history of their atrial fibrillation readings.
