While we’re all gearing up for Xiaomi’s next flagship phone series: Xiaomi 12S, the company also broke news of a new smartwatch.
In a brief teaser video released today, Xiaomi has unveiled the first Mi Band 7 Pro, which is the premium variant of the Mi Band 7 released in May this year. A couple of leaked representations later revealed that the watch had a metal chassis, better build quality, and a larger screen. It is said to arrive on July 4, along with the Xiaomi 12S series.
Mi Band 7 Pro Renders
Xiaomi will have a lot of announcements soon. One of them is the Pro variant of Mi Band 7, which he said will arrive next week. Until then, Xiaomi released a short teaser video to allow fans to see what the Mi Band 7 Pro is like.
According to this, it is seen that the Pro variant has a slightly larger screen, a metal chassis and a better build quality, all of which makes it look more premium than its usual counterpart. Well, it’s also better than the Redmi Smart Band Pro, which is currently Xiaomi’s best offering of smart watches.
The new premium fitness tracker, Mi Band 7 Pro, should host all the usual features of its regular counterpart and also have some special abilities. Since Xiaomi has not mentioned any, we have to wait for the leaks or the official launch to appear.
Meanwhile, a couple of representations from Digital Chat Station, a reliable informant gave us a better view of what the Pro model would look like. It looks like it comes in two color variants: one with a gold bezel around the screen and a white band, and the second with a metal bezel around the screen and a black strap.
Both will have a traditional clock style band, unlike the Redmi Smart Band Pro. We’ll know more about these when Xiaomi launches them on July 4, along with the Xiaomi 12S series.
