A 33-year-old man is expected to be charged with a subpoena after uploading a series of videos of himself driving at high speed through the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. speed limit along Yarra Boulevard in Kew, east of Melbourne.

Bicycle Network events director general Rebecca Lane said the driver’s actions were irresponsible.
He said the area was a popular destination for cyclists.
“We were incredibly surprised to see these behaviors on an iconic bike route,” he said.
“It is dangerous to see a car driving at this speed when there are motorcyclists on the road, they are the most vulnerable road users.
“You have kids going to school, people moving around and it’s a terrible behavior to see on our roads, not the place for a car like this.”

Lane said more needs to be done to protect cyclists on the roads.
“The council is planning a series of changes to reduce the behavior of hoons in this region and those changes may not come fast enough,” he said.
“It’s a huge barrier for motorcyclists and there is concern that there is a risk for motorcyclists on the road.”
Melbourne Bicycle User Group spokesman Nicholas Dow said it was frustrating to hear about the person’s reckless behavior.
“They’re putting themselves and everyone at risk at that kind of speed,” he said.
“I think there is some driving on the boulevard.
“It was built just to attract that kind of driving.”

Victoria police say they are aware of a video circulating on social media showing apparent high-risk driving behavior.
Videos are no longer publicly available online, and some accounts have been disabled.
The man is expected to be charged with speeding, driving at a dangerous speed and driving in a dangerous manner, following several alleged high-risk driving incidents on Karra’s Yarra Boulevard.
He will appear in a court of inquiry later.
