Apple introduces major changes to the iPhone at WWDC

Apple has responded to one of the “most requested” changes to the iPhone while introducing a number of new updates, as well as a new MacBook.

Craig Federighi, an Apple executive, said the “edit” and “undo send” buttons were one of the “most requested features for Messaging.”

Apple also unveiled a review of the iPhone lock screen during the conference. Users will now be able to create their own lock screens with custom fonts and add widgets for everything from time to NBA game results.

Notifications will now “enter” via a compact bar at the bottom of the lock screen instead of dominating the entire screen, Apple said.

In a press release, Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering, Craig Federighi, said the new iOS 16 operating system would completely change the way people experienced the iPhone.
