Apple is celebrating Pride Month once again by launching new Apple Watch watch bands and dials. Although sales of the new bands begin on May 26, Apple Watch users can now experience these new watch dials. Here’s how to add them.
The new Pride Threads and Nike Pride watches are available to users of the Apple Watch Series 4 or later. When you access the Watch app on your iPhone, they will appear in the “Face Gallery” below the “New Clock Faces” section. Your Apple Watch must be running watchOS 8.6 and your iPhone 15.5 or later.
This is how Apple describes the face of the Pride Threads watch:
This face brings together colors that represent the LGBT community. The threads are transformed to create time and respond to the movement of the wrist. You can also touch each thread or rotate the digital crown to send a vibration.
How to add the new Pride Threads watch dial
To add the new clock face, follow these steps:
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone;
- Tap “Face Gallery” at the bottom of the screen;
- In the “New Clock Spheres” section, select “Pride Threads”;
- Tap “Add.”
Users can choose from a white or black background. If you have a Nike edition of the Apple Watch, an exclusive pride band is also available that you can add in the same way as explained above.
You can find great deals on the Apple Watch, its charger, and bands in the Amazon Store.
