Outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he made a “fantastic loop” when he got to take a ride on a RAF Typhoon fighter jet.
In a speech at the Farnborough Air Show on Tuesday, Mr. Johnson, still the UK’s best weapon until September, described having taken off as a “vertical firecracker” for a plane ride.
Despite the G-force, the interim prime minister – known for being a political maverick – filmed a video of himself in the booth.

Speaking to a crowd at one of the world’s largest aerospace and defense trade fairs, he said, “After a while, the wing commander said to me,‘ Do you want to do this?

“Then we started throwing a few Gs, as they say, a few G. Johnson met with aviation leaders and apprentices, talked to British astronaut Tim Peake, and boarded an electric vertical takeoff and landing plane at the event in Hampshire, which will be one of the last as prime minister after resigning as Conservative leader in July. 7.

Farnborough Air Show is one of the largest aerospace and defense trade fairs in the world.
The five-day event is expected to be attended by some 1,500 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors from 96 countries.
The show usually takes place every two years, but the coronavirus pandemic means it’s the first time it’s been held since 2018.
According to organizers, bids totaling £ 161 billion (US $ 192 billion) were agreed.
