Hollywood big hitter Brad Pitt has said that in the darkest depths of the pandemic the script for his new film featured much-needed humor, and was full of praise for the joy of wearing a skirt.
The 58-year-old actor said: “I read this in the middle of confinement, they hadn’t found any vaccine, it just made me laugh and I thought yes, that’s what I want to see.”
In Bullet Train, she plays Ladybug, an unfortunate killer whose first job after a long period of therapy goes spectacularly wrong.
“For a killer it’s a real conflict of interest,” he told Sky News. “He’s working on his conscience, he’s not doing so well.”
The film sees Pitt reunite with David Leitch, his former double and film director.
Leitch is now a successful filmmaker for some of the most important action titles of recent years (John Wick, Deadpool 2), but in his day he played many of the hits in some of Pitt’s greatest hits, such as Fight Club , Oceans 11 and Mr. And Mrs. Smith.
“We met at the Fight Club … and we kept working until 2004 on a lot of movies, then he left me for greener pastures and now we’re done with the circle,” Pitt said.

Maybe it’s to be expected then that the film will be full of fights, and Leitch wasn’t about to let his protagonist get hurt.
“We’re all games and look at the acrobats protecting us too, too much, you know what I mean? But he designed his fights with humor, like Jackie Chan.”
Pitt’s clothing options for the London premiere – a dress – were not as captivating as they had been in Berlin earlier this week, where she walked the red carpet in a skirt.
But the Hollywood actor joked that he would highly recommend him to men in Britain if they want to stay calm.
“I mean, it’s all about the breeze, the breeze is very nice … very, very nice.”
