The RAF has sent four Typhoons and two F-35Bs to Finland and Sweden for joint training exercises.
It comes just weeks after Finland and Sweden apply for NATO membership and is part of a “larger presence in the region,” the RAF said.
The presence was requested by both countries.
Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said: “Finland and Sweden are important defense partners and we welcome their requests to join NATO, which will make the alliance stronger. as we face a renewed threat to Europe.
“These deployments demonstrate our determination to improve this partnership and ensure that our forces can work together smoothly.”
British fighter jets have conducted “high-end war training” with Finnish F-18 Hornet and Swedish Gripen aircraft, the RAF said.
Swedish Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist said the joint exercises “strengthen our ability to operate together in response to a crisis in our neighborhood.”
“This is especially important in today’s challenging security environment.”
