Thousands of easyJet passengers, many stranded abroad, have heard the news that their flights have been canceled.

Most cancellations are to and from easyJet’s main base, London Gatwick. Although some were informed a day or two in advance, many flights were suspended with only an hour’s notice.

Wizz Air has also canceled a handful of flights from Gatwick Airport to Faro, Palermo and Tenerife.
