Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, has been open about the difficulties of the marriage as she said that her husband has helped her to have more patience.
The 45-year-old Spanish model has been married for 12 years to the 38-year-old Australian actor, but has admitted that it is not always easy as she spoke of the importance of not being “selfish”.
She explained that she and Chris have learned from each other throughout their marriage and said they always try to spend time in their relationship.

She told Hello Magazine: “It’s not easy at all. No relationship is always a bed of roses and all marriages are built little by little, from good times, wonderful times and even more difficult ones.”
Elsa went on to say that the actor Thor and his three children, India, aged ten, and twins Tristan and Sasha, aged eight, have helped him to be more “patient”.
“My children have taught me to be patient; before they came I didn’t have any,” he added.
Although her children have taught her to be more tolerant, she admitted that she sometimes feels “overwhelmed” as a mother of three.

Elsa, who lives with her family in Australia, recently spent more than two months traveling around Europe with her three children while Chris was shooting in Prague for four months.
She admitted that even though it was a lifelong journey, she was not sure if she would do it again, as she talked about the evidence of traveling with children.
The Fast and Furious star has been busy promoting her new action film Interceptor, which will be released on June 3.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Project, Elsa said that her action-hero husband didn’t spare her when it came to giving advice on her fight scenes.
“She was so bossy!” said Elsa.
Sweet: The actress also said that her husband always helped her with the children, saying that she admired him for being a “brilliant father”.
He was just telling me, “This is the right angle when you hit.” He was just teaching me how to do it, what is the right position to take, “he said.
‘It’s been a long time coming. It was great to have him. He supported me from the beginning, since I first read the script.

The hosts of the show asked Elsa how they treated the couple with professional disagreements on set.
“It’s like your marriage somehow fixes things. It’s different when you’re an executive producer, it gives you advice, it supports you. It’s easier than when we get married every day,” she said.
