A TRUCK ended up on its side after an incident in East Lancs this Monday afternoon.
Emergency services are attending the incident, near the Toby Carvery Waterside in Carr Mill.
It is believed that the driver of the truck, which was transporting a BOC tanker, may have suffered a medical episode.

A spokesman for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews were alerted at 4.13pm and on the scene at 4.20pm.
“There are four fire brigades at the scene.
“Upon arrival, crews encountered a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a HGV alongside it.”
Firefighters have attended the scene
He added: “Firefighting has commenced with a team of two firefighters in breathing apparatus with a hose reel, crews are in the process of establishing water supplies.
“North West Ambulance Service are in attendance to assess the driver of the carriage, who was out of the vehicle before the MFRS arrived. They are conscious and breathing.
“Merseyside Police are also on the scene and have closed the East Lancs Road A580 in both directions between Haydock and St Helens.
“This is an ongoing incident, please avoid the area.”
In a statement, police said: “Merseyside Police advises motorists to avoid the East Lancashire Road (A580) near Carr Mill Dam, Carr Mill, St Helens.” Ambulance) following reports that a HGV overturned on the carriageway of the Manchester-bound road at around 4.10pm.
“The driver is believed to have suffered a medical episode and has been taken to hospital by ambulance. There were no other vehicles involved in the incident and no one else has been injured. “The East Lancashire Road is closed between Stanley Bank Way. at Carr Mill and Windle Island and will be in place until the vehicle is removed from the roadway.”
