Coleen Rooney breaks silence during Dubai vacation after Wagatha Christie’s trial

Coleen Rooney has accessed her Instagram page for the first time since leaving the last day of the “Wagatha Christie” trial. Coleen went to Dubai for a family vacation with her husband Wayne, their four children (Kai, 12, Klay, 8, Kit, 6, and Cass, 4), and their parents.

Sharing an update with fans on Sunday after returning home, she posted for the first time since the high-profile defamation trial in high court involving herself and Rebecca Vardy. It comes after the 36-year-old was photographed at Manchester Airport with her husband Wayne Rooney and family on the morning of May 19, the same day the trial ended.

Coleen shared a series of snapshots of Dubai on Instagram, reports the Liverpool Echo, with the headline: “We had the best family holiday of 2022. Dubai you were fantastic #thanks.”

In the photos you could see the family swimming with dolphins, sailing on a yacht and enjoying a day at the beach while sunbathing. Coleen and Wayne were smiling with their arms wrapped in a photo, while another showed the family of six in the water with a dolphin.

The couple are celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary today as they have been together since they were in school. The trip to Dubai was said to have been booked in advance by the couple’s lawyers and was the first time they had not appeared together in court during the defamation trial.

His lawyer, David Sherborne, told the court that the couple had asked him to explain “individual apologies” to him and to explain “that they do not intend to disrespect the court”.

The lawyer, who stressed that the husband and wife had been attending the trial all along, added: “They had a long-term travel agreement with their four children which their lawyers booked in advance.”

Mr Sherborne said this was done on the understanding that Thursday would not be a day for the court to sit down. The judge, Judge Steyn, said, “I’m not offended.”
